BCTA Banter: Welcome to our little corner of the world here in Benicia, CA. (est. population 26,700). We are currently located at the Benicia High School Courts on 1101 Military West.
6.5 / 7.5 Combo Signups
To Combo or not to Combo, that is the question! Last season Benicia fielded three Combo teams for the first time, a ladies and men's 6.5 along with a men's 7.5 team. Hats off to the ladies who took the Local Championship last season! This year will be another challenging season, but great practice for those are looking to play up or wanting experience at the next level. Sign-ups are now being taken.

6.0 Mixed Bag: This past season Benicia fielded two full teams for the season. Both teams faired well and one of our teams took the Local Championship! They performed very well at the District Championships winning their first two matches, but met their match in the third against Copper River. Congratulations on a valiant effort!
2008 Adult Season Roundup
It's hard to believe, but the adult season is already rapidly winding down to a close. As usual, the competition was challenging, but also led to opportunities in build team spirit and making new friendships. Congrats to the Women's 3.0 and 3.5, and the Men's 4.0 and 3.5 teams for another great season and securing playoff berths. Stayed tuned and good luck the rest of the way!

Tip of the Month: Easy as 1-2-3
Having trouble with your footwork and getting to the ball? Well, it's easy as 1-2-3! Take small natural steps in getting to the ball. You can get to most balls in three steps. It's all about timing, rhythm, and balance. Getting there is one thing, but you need to be in position to hit the ball first.
